Questions
Temporary Event Permit FAQ
How far ahead do I need to apply?
At least 10 business days before the event. Less than 7 days may incur expedited fees or a denial, so we start early.
Is free alcohol exempt from the permit?
Not usually. If you charge for entry, parking, or food, the alcohol is treated as part of the sale price and a permit is required.
Can I use my restaurant inventory at the event?
Mixed Beverage holders may use restaurant inventory for an event if it is properly documented on the books. We advise on the setup.
Can we serve past midnight?
Only with a Late Hours Certificate. Standard event hours end at midnight, or 1 AM on Saturday.
